jL joins Apeks roster
The Norwegian esports organization Apeks has announced the strengthening of its CS:GO roster by signing a contract with jL. The 22-year-old Lithuanian player joins the team after a less than impressive period in MAD Lions.
He is young and hungry, which is always good in a team with high ambitions. It is also important for us to sign this player as our head coach knew him well before, so he knows how he can prove himself and take us to new heights. Being young in a team can be difficult for some players to play alongside more experienced players. And yet he believes that his contribution to the team will be high.
jL spent the last year and a half with MAD Lions, with which he managed to win Esport Tour Pro Summer 2021, GameGune 23, ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Autumn 2021 #1 and REPUBLEAGUE Season 3, and also get into the TOP-3 at the end of the Domination League Season 2, BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2021, DreamHack Open November 2021 and Elisa Invitational Spring 2022.
I decided to sign with Apeks because I really like the lineup and I see a lot of potential in us. This is by far the most beautiful team I have ever played with. I'm grateful for the chance to really show what I'm capable of. I don't feel like I'm back together with “kuben”, I feel like we never left each other. I'm glad to know that he's a pillar that I can lean on. He was by my side from the very beginning of my career, and until that moment we never lost faith in each other, 1 told jL.
Recall that recently the Norwegian organization introduced kuben as its new head coach. Before that, the Polish specialist also worked with the MAD Lions squad.
The next championship for Apeks will be ESEA Season 42: Advanced Division - Europe, which starts tomorrow, August 8th. In addition, the team will start preparing for the qualifications for the European RMR tournament. The organization also promised to introduce the latest player soon.
From now on Apeks CS:GO roster is as follows:
- nawwk
- jkaem
- STYKO
- jL
- kuben (head coach)
- Polly (assistant coach)
