Lucky officially leaves Astralis

Lucky officially leaves Astralis. The 19-year-old Danish sniper announced this on his Twitter, adding that his contract with the club will expire in mid-May, while he himself is free to look for new options to continue his career.

Astralis has given me permission to look for new opportunities as my contract ends in mid-May. I really learned a lot during my time at Astralis and I can't wait to put those skills to good use somewhere else. I missed the game and I'm more motivated than ever to get back on top and show good CS again and show what I'm really capable of.

Lucky joined Astralis in August last year, having moved from the Tricked Esport camp. However, for half a year, the 19-year-old Danish sniper did not become a full-fledged replacement for device, and now and then he was criticized by the community for his insecure play in important rounds.

During the time spent in the Danish grand, the young player took third place at BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021, got into the TOP-4 at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2021 and Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Fall: Europe, and also performed at PGL Major Stockholm 2021.

Nevertheless, after another individual failure of Lucky within the framework of Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice, the organization decided to find a new sniper. As a result, Astralis signed Farlig, with whom, as it seems, they solved their long-standing problem and gained stability.

Astralis' current roster is as follows:

  • Xyp9x.
  • gla1ve.
  • k0nfig.
  • blameF.
  • farlig.
  • trace (trainer).
