Heroic unveils updated coaching staff
The Danish eSports organization Heroic has presented an updated coaching staff for the CS:GO team. While Xizt was officially appointed as the team's head coach, the club welcomed several new talents including an analyst, manager and mental coach.
The main news concerns the confirmation of Xizt as the head coach of the squad. The 31-year-old Swede joined Heroic back in October last year as an analyst but was forced to take over as a coach. At the same time, under his leadership, the Danish team won Pinnacle Winter Series #3, and also made it to the top three at PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice.
The next addition to the coaching staff was haste, who joined the team as a new analyst. At the same time, the 31-year-old Dane previously worked as a coach for SK Gaming and Galaxy Racer (later Nigma Galaxy).
Kasper Straube is introduced as the manager of Heroic. In addition to his direct duties, the Dane will play the role of a physiotherapist.
The latest addition to the team is Troels Robl, who will take on the duties of a mental coach. Note that the Dane has worked with Heroic before, joining the club in January last year.
The next tournament for Heroic will be ESL Pro League Season 15, which starts tomorrow, March 30th. Together with the Danish team, AGO, NAVI, Astralis, Evil Geniuses and Complexity will perform in the same group.
From now on, the Heroic CS:GO roster is as follows:
- stavn.
- CadiaN.
- TeSeS.
- refresh.
- sjuush.
- Xizt (head coach).
- Troels Robl (mental trainer).
