G2 Esports introduced Aleksib and XTQZZZ
The Spanish esports organization G2 Esports has introduced Aleksib and XTQZZZ as the captain and head coach of the CS:GO roster. At the same time, the organization started a cycle of changes, in particular, by sending nexa in the opposite direction, as well as putting AMANEK on the bench. In addition, Swani, who served as the team's acting head coach at the end of last season, has remained with the organization, returning to the position of analyst.
A month after the first rumors about the exchange of captains appeared, the organizations G2 Esports and OG agreed on the details and announced the changes officially. At the same time, it is not known whether one of the parties paid for the deal, but it is safe to say that both organizations were satisfied with the current alignment, given such rapid changes.
Aleksib spent the last two years with OG, with whom he did not achieve much success, winning only BLAST Premier: Fall 2020 Regular Season and Spring Sweet Spring #2. According to rumors, the Finnish captain personally interested the leaders of G2 Esports, who wanted to build on their last year's success by finally breaking a string of losses in the finals of large tournaments.

Together with the team, the 33-year-old French specialist has won many tournaments. including EPICENTER 2019, BLAST Premier: Fall 2020 and Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Winter. The changes on the coaching bridge don't stop there, as Swani, who took over the reins during Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Winter and BLAST Premier: World Final 2021, will return to the role of analyst.
In the opposite direction, nexa followed, who, according to rumors, was tired of the role of captain. It is not clear what role the Serbian esportsman will take, but after two successful seasons with G2 Esports, he can be considered one of the best IGL scene. Also, the starting lineup of G2 Esports left AMANEK, which is free to study proposals from outside. Earlier it was reported that the 28-year-old French player will assemble a new team with kennyS, who is also on the bench in G2 Esports.
With this roster, G2 Esports will perform at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022, which will start at the end of January.
