Electronic is the top 7 best players of 2021 according to HLTV
Denis 'electronic' Sharipov of Natus Vincere came in at number seven on HLTV's Top 20 Players of 2021 list. For the esportsman himself, this is the fourth time he has appeared on the list from the editors of the aforementioned portal.
Denis ended the year with a rating of 1.14. It is noteworthy that at the major championships, he performed on average with a rating of 1.21. According to this indicator, he is in the top 5 CS:GO players. ESL Pro League Season 13 was the most unsuccessful tournament for electronic. There he was able to score only 1.04 rating points.
2021 turned out to be the most successful year both for Denis Sharipov personally as part of NaVi and for the CS:GO roster as a whole. The gaming year began with a victory at BLAST Premier World Finals 2020, where the team, together with the newly arrived b1t, earned $600,000. The Born to Win did not stop there and took the championship at DreamHack Masters Spring 2021, where they received $100,000. The next tournament from the BLAST Premier series with the subtitle Spring Finals 2021 was not as successful as the previous one, however, becoming silver medalists is also in high esteem, and the reward of $85,000 was not superfluous for the players. In many subsequent tournaments, Natus Vincere won. They conquered such events as Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2021, ESL Pro League Season 14, BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2021, BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2021 and BLAST Premier World Final 2021. ESL Pro League Season 14 deserves special mention, for the victory in which the team took the lead in the third season of the Intel Grand Slam and received a $1,000,000 bonus, as well as a championship at PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
Sharipov's work was appreciated at DreamHack Masters Spring, StarLadder CIS RMR, ESL Pro League Season 14, PGL Major Stockholm, BLAST Premier World Final 2021, BLAST Premier Spring Finals, IEM Cologne, IEM Fall CIS and BLAST Premier Fall Final 2020. In all these events, electronic received the title of EVP Valuable Player.
Previously, Denis Sharipov's teammate Valery 'b1t' Vakhovsky was ranked 9th in HLTV's list of the best players of 2021.
Tomorrow evening there will be information about who will take 6th place in the top 20 from HLTV. Every year in January, the editors of the portal sum up the results of the past season and name their version of the best players in CS:GO. Team Vitality roster member Mathieu 'ZywOo' Herbault took 1st place in 2019 and 2020.
