nitr0 returned to Team Liquid
The European esports organization Team Liquid has officially announced the return of nitr0. Recall that the 26-year-old American cybersportsman has spent the last year and a half in the VALORANT discipline, playing for the 100 Thieves team.
The saga that has been going on for the past month and a half seems to have come to an end. Even after the end of PGL Major 2021, it became known that the Team Liquid roster will undergo major changes in the off-season. As a result, at the end of the year, the organization sent Stewie2K, Grim and FalleN to inactive, simultaneously extending the contract with NAF, and also signing oSee and shox.
The last missing element was nitr0, who back in November was suspected of imminent return to his native team. At the same time, the esportsman himself quickly left the starting lineup of 100 Thieves, leaving the fans in the dark until the moment of the official announcement.
Now it is finally clear that nitr0 is returning to Team Liquid. The 26-year-old American esportsman has already played for the team from 2015 to 2020, winning many prestigious tournaments, including Intel Extreme Masters XIV - Sydney, ESL Pro League Season 9 - Finals, ESL One: Cologne 2019, BLAST Pro Series: Los Angeles 2019 and Intel Extreme Masters XIV - Chicago.
The next tournament for Team Liquid will be BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022, which will start at the end of January. The North American team will meet in the same group with Team Vitality, FaZe Clan and Evil Geniuses.
The Team Liquid roster for the new season is as follows:
- EliGE.
- NAF.
- oSee.
- shox.
- nitr0.
- adreN (coach).
