FURIA Esports said goodbye to VINI

The management of the Brazilian esports club has revealed that their collaboration with Vinicius 'VINI' Figueiredo has come to an end. The event was announced on the FURIA Esports Twitter account and other media.

The Brazilian organization published a video in which the famous coach Nicolas 'guerri' Nogueira said how it was a pleasure for the team to play together with VINI and wished the esportsman success in his future actions. The place of Vinicius in the team was not empty for a long time and it was already taken by Rafael 'saffee' Costa.

On a Twitter account, the management wrote the following:

We were born and raised together as a team. We won, we lost, we rose and united in pursuit of our dream. Vinao, we will cheer for you, always, always. Thank you very much for everything VINI

Vinicius Figueiredo replied to this post and also thanked the management for the joint journey and bright emotions:

There are no words to describe how incredible those years were. I am sure that we have built bonds that will never be forgotten. The athlete and the person that I have become exists only because of everything that we have experienced together. You will always be my family. Guerri's voice acting is great.

At the moment, there is no information about where VINI will continue his career as a CS:GO player. According to some rumors, he may join the Brazilian legionnaire Gabriel 'FalleN' Toledo and perform under the Last Dance tag. Yesterday, FalleN said that he had assembled a CS:GO roster, but so far refrained from naming the team members.

Vinicius 'VINI' Figueiredo's partnership with FURIA Esports began in 2017. He played both in the main team and in the academic roster. His biggest achievement with FURIA was the second place at Esports Championship Series Season 7 - Finals, where the team earned $100,000. The team, together with VINI, won several championships, including ESL Pro League Season 12: North America, Elisa Invitational Summer 2021, DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: North America and others. In 2021, FURIA Esports performed at PGL Major Stockholm 2021. The team was unable to achieve a high result. The team took 7th-8th place and received a cash reward of $70,000.
