According to the Dexerto portal, referring to its own sources, maLeK may lead Evil Geniuses. The former G2 Esports coach is in talks with the North American organization. The 35-year-old French specialist began negotiations with Evil Geniuses just a few days after the end of PGL Major Stockholm 2021.

As a reminder, maLeK has been coaching G2 Esports for the past three years. During this time, the French specialist led the team to victories in the Good Game League 2019, Champions Cup Finals, BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Regular Season, BLAST Premier: Fall 2020 Regular Season and BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2021. However, at the beginning of the week, the 35-year-old French specialist announced his departure from G2 Esports, without giving any reason for his departure. At the same time, the Swani team analyst became the acting coach of G2 Esports.

Sources close to the situation said that negotiations between maLeK and Evil Geniuses are under way and that an agreement between the two parties is nearing completion.
