MSL May Do YouTube Tutorial Series

Matthias 'MSL' Sommer Lauridsen wrote on his Twitter account that he is thinking about creating a series of tutorial videos on how to play CS: GO:

I'm thinking about making some YouTube videos of the basics of CS: GO. Let me know in the comments if you have anything you would like me to tell you about!

In the comments, many reacted to this idea somewhat skeptically and with partial misunderstanding. Subscribers of the Danish esportsman noted that it would not be difficult to find a video about the basic basics of CS: GO on the Internet. Instead, they advised him to do something really advanced. MSL fans want to see "real boring bullshit" from him that many athletes don't talk about and in their opinion the professional players talking about the basics is wasted potential.

Other commentators suggested considering different strategies on different maps and asked MSL to explain in an accessible language why force-buy is needed and other things that are not clear to new CS: GO viewers.

Matthias 'MSL' Lauridsen is one of the veterans of the professional CS: GO scene. The Danish player started his career in Counter-Strike Source in 2011 and in 2012, along with everyone else, moved to CS: GO. The most significant teams in his career are Dignitas, North and OpTic Gaming. Together with Dignitas, he managed to win the largest championship of his career, EPICENTER 2016. The main prize was $ 250,000. Together with North, the esportsman took part in many tournaments and regularly won prizes in them. The main achievements, perhaps, can be called the victory at DreamHack Masters Stockholm 2018 and the second place at ESL Pro League Season 5 - Finals. Both there and there the team received cash prizes of $ 100,000.

In 2019, Mathias Lauridsen temporarily moved to the ranks of OpTic Gaming and, together with the latter, won at DreamHack Open Summer 2019, earning $ 50,000 for the team. After that, the player's path continued to North, and then the Danish club announced his retirement from eSports. MSL tried its hand at the South mix, but failed to achieve success.
