Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Receiving Promising Update
The next Call of Duty title is reportedly the fourth installment of Modern Warfare, developed by Infinity Ward. Although Activision hasn’t announced the new game yet, rumors are circulating that it is set to release this October, and now we have some details about the upcoming title.
As revealed by X social media CoDQG, with a reference to Call of Duty leaker crashfty, Activision and Infinity Ward are planning to launch the campaign mode of Modern Warfare 4 via early access, the same way they did with Modern Warfare 3. Also, developers are working to bring a lot of content and support for DMZ mode, and the game will reportedly include some mystery mode and the return of weekly challenges.

As the portal notes, this information has not been confirmed, and the above should be treated as a rumor. Call of Duty franchise is also going to be expanded, as the movie adaptation recently received a release date —June 30, 2028. The movie is directed by Peter Berg (Hancock, Battleship, Mile 22). The cast, production start, and which game’s story it will adapt or whether it is an original work unrelated to games remain unknown for now.
