Call of Duty: Mobile Launches 2026 With Season 1 “Frozen Abyss”

Call of Duty: Mobile is welcoming 2026 with the release of Season 1, titled Frozen Abyss, delivering a full-scale winter-themed update. The new season sets the pace for the year ahead with fresh events, a revamped Battle Pass, seasonal challenges, and the debut of a brand-new Mythic Operator. Season 1 officially goes live on January 14, 2026.

Season 1 Highlights and Limited-Time Events

Street Fighter Collaboration – Part 2

The Street Fighter crossover continues after the game’s 6th Anniversary celebrations with a second themed event. Players can take on new challenges to earn exclusive rewards, including the M4 — Vulcan Blast Weapon Blueprint, Charm — Charming Guile, and the highlight reward, Prizefighters — Ryu’s Gloves, a melee weapon blueprint inspired by the iconic fighter.

Winter-Themed Events

Frozen Abyss fully embraces the winter atmosphere with multiple seasonal events. One of them features winter sports-inspired gameplay, offering rewards such as the AS Val — Ski Slope Weapon Blueprint and the Otter — Slope Drifter Operator Skin.

Secret Cache Catch-Up Event

A new Secret Cache Catch-Up event gives players another opportunity to unlock previously missed rewards. Alongside returning items, the event introduces new additions, including a Season 1 weapon camo and the Legendary Striker, originally released in Season 11 last year.

Battle Pass and Challenge Pass Overview

The Frozen Abyss Battle Pass includes a wide range of winter-themed rewards across free and premium tiers, featuring Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and Call of Duty Points.

Free Battle Pass Rewards

The free tiers unlock the LC10 SMG, a fast-firing and low-recoil weapon designed for close- to mid-range combat. Players can also earn the Inflatable Decoy, a new Tactical item that deploys a balloon decoy to confuse enemies. Additional rewards include seasonal cosmetics, weapon blueprints, and Vault Coins.

Premium Battle Pass Rewards

The Premium Battle Pass expands on the Frozen Abyss theme with Operator Skins such as American Bulldog — Polar Explorer and Portnova — Arctic Adventurer. Weapon Blueprints like Man-O-War — Tidal Lance and LC10 — Tracker reinforce the icy visual style of the season.

Players subscribed to Ground Forces receive bonus rewards, including the Polina — Arctic Shadow Operator Skin, Peacekeeper MK2 — Winter Expedition Weapon Blueprint, Backpack 3 — Winter Expedition, along with XP boosts and store discounts.

Challenge Pass

Season 1’s Challenge Pass introduces Standard, Special, and Elite Missions. Completing these missions earns tokens that can be exchanged for seasonal rewards, including new UAV and Frag Grenade reskins.

Store Updates and Mythic Content

New Mythic Draw: Codename: Lazarus

Season 1 introduces the Mythic Codename: Lazarus — Cosmic Wrath Operator Skin. This undead-themed operator features a dark, demonic design. The Mythic Draw also includes the Legendary FAL — Aether Fracture Weapon Blueprint, along with additional themed cosmetics.

Mythic Weapon Voting Champion

The Grim Ending Mythic Draw returns as the winner of the Mythic Weapon Voting event from Season 10. Featuring the AK117 — Grim Ending, this Champion Mythic Drop will be available in the Store starting January 23, 2026, for a limited time.

Additional Draws and Store Items

Season 1 adds several new Draws, including the next Four Horsemen release with Artery — Death and the Echo — Eternal Grasp Weapon Blueprint. Other Store content includes Operator Skins such as Phantom — Cryo Shadow, Minotaur — Polar Rage, and Dusk — Frost Cinder, alongside Weapon Blueprints like EM2 — Frigid Dominion, HVK-30 — Polar Circuit, and LC10 — Glacial Ash.

Battle Pass Vault

Two classic Battle Passes are added to the Vault this season. The Day of Reckoning Battle Pass from Season 2 (2021) returns, featuring rewards such as Mace — Back for More, Mara — Awakening, AS Val — Judgement, and M4LMG — Checkpoint.
