Call of Duty: Warzone Drops May 2025 Update — High Art Event Extended, Key Fixes Rolled Out

Raven Software has rolled out a new Call of Duty: Warzone update as of May 13, addressing several gameplay issues and extending the ongoing High Art event. This update also delivers a crucial fix to a bug affecting movement while aiming down sights, alongside multiple other improvements to Ranked Play and in-game systems.

🎨 High Art Event Gets Extended

Initially scheduled to end on May 15, the High Art Event will now conclude on Thursday, May 22 at 10:00 a.m. PT/ 1:00 p.m. ET. This gives players an extra week to earn XP and unlock both Free and Premium Track rewards, including:

• Double XP Tokens
• Weapon Blueprints
• Ladra SMG
• Goblin Mk2 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion

After the event ends, these unlockables will become available in the Armory for players who missed them, and they’ll be usable in both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

🔧 Key Gameplay Fixes and Ranked Play Adjustments

This update resolves a number of frustrating gameplay issues:

• ADS Movement Bug Fixed: Players previously experienced incorrect aim down sight (ADS) speeds while prone or crouching. This has now been corrected, restoring balance to player mobility.
• Revive Timing Issue: An error causing extended revive times on downed teammates has been addressed.
• Prestige Menu Fix: Players can now select the “How Prestige Works” button in the Prestige menu without issue, even while queueing.
• Operator VO Cooldown: Fixed a bug causing Operator voice lines to trigger without cooldown, which could clutter gameplay audio.

🎮 Ranked Play Changes

Ranked Play received additional tuning to ensure fair competition:

• Public Event Rotation: Restock now replaces Fire Sale during circle 3, adjusting tactical dynamics mid-match.
• Emote Restrictions: Emotes have once again been disabled in Ranked Play to prevent players from gaining unfair visibility advantages during competitive matches.
