According to sources, OpTic Texas is in talks with Envoy and Drazah regarding their potential addition to the team for the CDL 2024 season
According to Dexerto sources, OpTic Texas has initiated discussions about potentially acquiring two stars from the LA Thieves, Zack 'Drazah' Jordan and Dylan 'Envoy' Hannon, for their roster in the 2023/24 Call of Duty League season.
While the team-building process is still in its early stages, numerous rumors have already begun circulating. Fans and players anticipate significant roster changes for up to 11 out of the 12 franchises, with the exception of the reigning champs, the New York Subliners, who are expected to remain unchanged.
There has been speculation about OpTic Texas' roster, including rumors that they were willing to make Seattle Surge's Amer 'Pred' Zulbeari the most expensive player in Call of Duty history.
As a result, OpTic Texas ended up with Brandon 'Dashy' Otell, Cuyler 'Huke' Garland, Anthony 'Shotzzy' Cuevas-Castro, and Daniel 'Ghosty' Rothe on their roster, which led to immediate success with consecutive second-place finishes at Major 3 and Major 4, respectively.
However, their performance couldn't be sustained in the later stages of the season, ultimately falling short of expectations at CDL Champs 2023 and failing to secure a podium finish. It comes as no surprise, therefore, that they are planning to make some changes.
