Rumors: Stage 4 Major and CDL Championship will be held in Columbus and Las Vegas, respectively

According to the Dexerto portal, the organizers of the Call of Duty CDL series have decided on the locations that will host Stage 4 Major and CDL Championship. The fourth major of the 2023 season will reportedly take place in Columbus, Ohio, while the final CDL Championship will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The news that the Stage 4 Major venue will be changed comes after information from the New York Subliners team, which announced in December that it was impossible to organize the event. As a result, the organizers of the series had to look for a venue that could meet the capacity requirements for co-hosting both the Major itself and the Challengers Open.

According to Dexerto's sources, the organizers wanted one of the franchise teams to take over the organization of the Stage 4 Major. However, due to budget issues on the part of the teams and the league itself, they seem to be heading to Columbus, Ohio. The Major itself is scheduled for April 13-16.

However, sources say that the final CDL Championship will go to Las Vegas, Nevada. Thus, the championship bypasses the familiar Los Angeles, which has been the venue for the tournament for many years. Although dates for the tournament have yet to be announced, the competition is expected to take place in mid-June.

The organizers are expected to officially announce the venues for the Stage 4 Major and CDL Championship in the near future.
