Renegades closes Call of Duty division
The North American esports organization Renegades has decided to close the Call of Duty esports division. The club announced this on its social networks.
We have made the decision to leave the Call of Duty competitive scene. We would like to thank our players over the past two years for their time, dedication and champion mentality. Swifty, Fighta, Louqa and Shockz have been nothing less than great contributors to our organization and we wish them the best of luck in the future.
The last Call of Duty roster of Renegades was formed in 2020 with minor changes. During this time, the Australian team has won many regional championships, including Call of Duty Challengers 2021 - Cup 5: APAC, Call of Duty Challengers 2021 - Open 1: APAC, Call of Duty Challengers 2021 - Cup 18: APAC and Call of Duty Challengers 2021 - Open 5: APAC, and also made it to the top three at Call of Duty Challengers 2021 - Open 3: APAC and Call of Duty Challengers 2022 - Cup 4: APAC.
The last championship for the Renegades was the Call of Duty Challengers 2022: Minnesota Open, following which the team took 17-24th place, losing to Strike X with a score of 1:2.
Renegades' latest Call of Duty roster is as follows:
