According to French journalist Coco, Team BDS will send hoppY to the bench. At the same time, the team is expected to return to the classic five-player squad, with no plans to enter the transfer market.

hoppY entered the professional scene last July as part of the Opportunists. Until November, the Frenchman tried to make himself known by winning third-order tournaments. At the end of the year, the entire roster moved under the wing of DfuseTeam, where hoppY, along with the rest of the team, made a quantum leap in development, winning VCT 2021: Europe Stage 1 Challengers 3, as well as performing at VCT 2021: Europe Stage 1 Masters. However, the organization began to have financial problems, as a result of which the entire staff was put up for transfer.

The francophone DfuseTeam signed by the Swiss organization in mid-April managed to quickly gain a foothold in the top ten of the European rankings, showing some impressive results. The team immediately got into the top four at VCT 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2, after winning the VALORANT Open Tour: France - Summer Qualifier. However, at the last two VCT 2021: Europe Stage 3 Challengers, the team did not justify itself, and failed to qualify for Challengers Playoffs.
