Taimou announced his retirement from the professional scene
Taimou has announced his retirement from the professional scene. The reason for leaving was depression, which the 27-year-old Finnish player could not cope with during his career. The player wrote about this on his Twitter.
"I decided to take a break from the game as a whole I had long known that I have depression, but could not cope with it, trying to continue to play, so from now on I will try to devote this issue all the time is no longer looking for a team.."- posted by Taimou.
Taimou started his career with VALORANT with IDDQD, but quickly became part of Mattistack. The 27-year-old has also played for Event Horizon and MJAOMODE. Taimou later joined Entropiq, with which he finished second in VERSUS LEGENDS # 2. However, in June the Czech organization disbanded the roster, while the player himself continued to play for the Unjobbed team.
It is worth noting that the Finnish player has previously been very successful in the Overwatch discipline. Together with Team Envy, he won the OG Invitational, Overwatch APEX Season 1, Major League Gaming Vegas 2016 and Major League Gaming Vegas 2016, earning over $ 70,000.
