Rumor: New Agent in Valorant Will Be a Duelist

Dataminer valohabercisi has shared some interesting information regarding the upcoming agent in Valorant. As it became known, the role of the upcoming character will be Duelist, making them the ninth agent in this class.

On his official social media accounts, valohabercisi stated that he can confirm that the new agent will be a Duelist. However, he did not reveal any further details. It is worth noting that in the previous trailer dedicated to Valorant Champions 2026, the silhouette of the upcoming agent can be seen, but no details are visible.

In addition, another dataminer, kohteihep, recently showed what the icon of one of the upcoming character's abilities will look like. However, there are also no details about what it will do.

The new agent will be officially announced on October 18 during a showmatch ahead of the Valorant Champions 2026 grand final. Until then, however, more details will most likely emerge online from insiders and dataminers.

It is worth noting that the latest agent released in Valorant is Controller Miks, who was added in patch 12.05. Riot Games is also preparing to make balance changes to Valorant starting next season, with the first confirmed change being a nerf and rework for Neon.
