The well-known analytical service Esports Charts has presented detailed statistics on views among esports shooter championships in 2022. The most popular tournament was VALORANT Champions 2022, which, in particular, outperformed IEM Rio Major 2022 in CS:GO discipline.
As the compilers of the statistical summary noted, not the most popular tournaments of the year in their disciplines were taken into account, but rather the final tournaments of the official seasons of 2022. While VALORANT Championship 2022 set a new audience record, IEM Rio Major 2022, Six Jönköping Major 2022 and Free Fire World Series 2022 did not perform well in their disciplines last year.
