G2 Esports unveiled their new VALORANT roster
The European esports organization G2 Esports has officially unveiled its new VALORANT roster. The club moved to North America, where it will take part in the Challengers series.
Perhaps the main newcomers to the team were ShahZaM and dapr, former Sentinels players. Together with their former team, they managed to win the PAX Arena Invitational, JBL Quantum Cup, VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters, VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers Finals, VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík and VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.
The next additions to G2 Esports were wippie and penny. In a season and a half spent as part of Version1, they managed to win the Nerd Street Gamers: Winter Championship - Open 4, as well as reach the VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers Finals.
The latest addition to the roster is OXY, who previously played for Dark Ratio. Here, the young American became the winner of Knights Arena Monthly Gauntlet 2022: July and Proving Grounds 2022: Unleashed, and also reached the finals at Knights Arena Monthly Gauntlet 2022: September and BoomTV VALORANT Select.
The team will be coached by Immi - former Version1 coach - who is well acquainted with the aforementioned wippie and penny.
With the new roster, the G2 Esports organization will try their hand at the American Challengers League, where they will probably receive a direct invitation from Riot Games.
