TiGG leaves Shopify Rebellion
TiGG has announced his departure from Shopify Rebellion 's VALORANT roster. In his message, the 23-year-old American thanked the organization and also expressed his desire to find a new team in the offseason.
One step back, two steps forward. Today is my last day with Shopify Rebellion. I will always cherish the memories of them and wish them good luck. Last season I did not play at the level that I adhere to. I've been focusing on other aspects of my life this offseason and I can safely say that I'm feeling better than ever. It's time to put your head down and keep practicing.
TiGG spent the last year as part of Luminosity Gaming, which was bought out by Shopify Rebellion last summer. Together with the team, the 23-year-old American player became the champion of Nerd Street Gamers: Winter Championship - Open 12, got into the TOP-3 at VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers 2.
However, the North American organization was not selected as a partner for VCT 2023. As a result, Shopify Rebellion made the decision to abandon their efforts to gain a foothold on the scene, but expressed their desire to continue supporting the women's team.
Note that this is not the first change in the team's roster, as moose moved to the inactive last week. Other Shopify Rebellion players are also expected to arrive with similar messages.
Shopify Rebellion's current VALORANT roster:
