Evil Geniuses will be the last American League partner in VALORANT
According to insider George Geddes, North American esports organization Evil Geniuses will be Riot Games' latest VALORANT partner for the American League. It is reported that the club will join the roster along with NRG, Sentinels, 100 Thieves and Cloud9 from North America. Meanwhile, the Brazilian teams LOUD, FURIA and MIBR have received one spot each, while Leviatán Esports and KRÜ Esports will compete in the league representing Latin America.
Organizations such as Ninjas in Pajamas and G2 Esports were also considered for inclusion in the number of partners, but for various reasons did not make it to the final list.
The Evil Geniuses organization has been represented in the VALORANT discipline since January 2021. Although her team has not gained much fame on the scene, the club is famous for its large fan base not only in North America, but also in other regions. In addition, Evil Geniuses is actively working with content, which was probably the reason for getting into the American League.
Evil Geniuses will likely rebuild their roster in the off-season to sign the region's top players as several top organizations have already decided to leave the scene. It's unclear which players can be replaced, but many talents will be looking to become part of the international leagues.
The American League will be hosted in Los Angeles with ten selected partners from North America, Brazil and Latin America. Participants (according to rumors) are NRG, Sentinels, 100 Thieves, Cloud9, Evil Geniuses, LOUD, FURIA, MIBR, Leviatán Esports and KRÜ Esports.
The current roster of Evil Geniuses in the VALORANT discipline:
