Partner teams are due to submit their rosters to Riot Games in October

According to insider George Geddes, the teams that will partner with Riot Games in the international VALORANT leagues next year will have to submit their rosters as early as October. Teams from around the world will be selected for the conclusion of the VALORANT Champions 2022 tournament, which ends on September 18th. At the same time, Riot Games plans to make an official announcement on September 26, just a few days after the end of the championship.

Earlier it became known that the teams selected to cooperate with tournament operator and developer Riot Games for international leagues next year, most likely, will not be able to maintain youth squads for participation in TIER-2 championships.

From now on, the teams will have almost three weeks to present potential lineups to the organizers. But this does not mean that teams will not be able to sign players after this date and before the start of the season, which starts in mid-February.

Organizations will have until February 1 to complete their rosters for the partner leagues, while the main event kicks off approximately two weeks after the rosterlock. In addition, a second transfer window is expected in March to complete the squads.

In the first year of the Partner League, there will be 30 teams - 10 teams for each region: Americas, Europe and Asia. The teams have already begun preparations for the competitive season, waiting for the final decision of Riot Games.

The roster changes are expected to start as early as next week. We are in for an exciting transfer window with a lot of reshuffles.

According to the same George Geddes, the next competitive season of the VALORANT Champions Tour will begin in February 2023. The location of the European league should be Berlin. The American League is expected to be hosted in Los Angeles and the Asian League is expected to be hosted in Seoul.
