vaiZ leaves Leviatan Esports
vaiZ announced his departure from the Leviatán Esports team. The 19-year-old Chilean esportsman announced this on his Twitter,
First of all, I wanted to thank Leviatán Esports for everything they did for me, especially adverso who was the one who paid attention to me and became a great partner, as well as all the guys for their professionalism and for being the best people that I have ever met on stage. I decided to announce that I became a free agent and open to offers.
vaiZ joined Leviatán Esports at the end of last year. In seven months, the 19-year-old Chilean esportsman helped the team win VALORANT Defenders LAS 2021 and VCT 2022: LAS Stage 1 Challengers, as well as take second place in the Argentina Game Show Cup 2021, VCT 2022: LATAM Stage 1 Challengers Playoffs and VCT 2022: LAS Stage 2 Challengers.
However, in early June, vaiZ left the team's starting roster as the organization made the decision to take on a player from their academy. As a result, Leviatán Esports managed to accomplish the impossible by qualifying for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen as the champion of their region.
The VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen itself will take place from July 10 to 24 in Copenhagen. As part of the championship, twelve participants from Europe, North and South America, Brazil, Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia will play for an unannounced prize pool, as well as rating points.
From now on, the Leviatán Esports roster for VALORANT is as follows:
- adverso
- kiNgg
- Melser
- Tacolilla
- Shyy
- Onur (head coach)
- BeTony (assistant coach)
