Brazilian coaches reported a “training bug” in Valorant
People who are at least somewhat versed in the field of eSports remember the scandal associated with the use of a coaching bug in CS:GO. Now a similar story is beginning to take root in another esports discipline, Valorant.
On the reddit forum, the former editor of VZone said that he received a lot of calls from coaches of various teams who discovered a bug available in spectator mode. A bug may allow Spectators to gain a certain advantage by having information about the movement of opponents on the minimap. The problem was noticed a couple of months ago and the bug is on all maps. To this day it has been faulty.
Enemy agents in the game are displayed on the minimap as red dots, even if they were not previously detected. At the moment, no one knows what exactly is the trigger for this bug. Riot Games is already struggling with this problem, but so far they have not found a solution.
In the same subreddit, another guest published a post in which he clearly showed how the bug works and reported the problem.
