BeTony leaves Leviatan Esports coaching chair
The Argentine esports organization Leviatan Esports has announced changes to the coaching bridge of the VALORANT roster, saying goodbye to BeTony. Note that the 38-year-old Argentine specialist was an integral element of last year's success of the team, which he joined back in May.
Today we have to say goodbye to BeTony, your mark on our VALORANT team will be marked in the great history of Leviatan Esports. Thanks for everything, BeTony!
BeTony joined the Leviatan Esports coaching staff last spring from KRU Esports. For the rest of the season, the 38-year-old Argentine specialist helped the team win VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Latin America Stage 2 - Challengers Playoffs and Valorant LATAM Gods, take second place at VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Latin America South Stage 2 Challengers, and also take part in as part of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen (5th-6th place) and VALORANT Champions 2022 (7th-8th place).
I have no intention of continuing with Leviatan Esports in 2023. I have some personal issues and need time to collect my thoughts. I thank Leviatan Esports for giving me the opportunity. We need to encourage outsiders who will debut in Brazil soon and while the format is controversial, there is reason to believe they will part ways with the roster that has been put together,” wrote BeTony.
Recall that the Leviatan Esports organization was included in the final list of partners for the American League. Here, the Argentine club will play in the same ecosystem together with Sentinels, 100 Thieves, Cloud9, NRG Esports, Evil Geniuses, FURIA, LOUD, KRÜ Esports and MIBR.
Now the Latin American team will face a difficult task, as Leviatan Esports will soon take part in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo. In the first round of the championship, the team will meet with the representative of Asia - ZETA DIVISION.
