The previous Night Market ran from July 16 to July 29, 2026, and after it ends, Riot traditionally takes a break of a few weeks before launching the next one. Historically, the event tends to fall in the middle of a seasonal act rather than right at its start, so a market appearing in the second half of September is fully in line with previous cycles.

Night Market is a personalized shop that opens individually for each player, offering six random weapon skins at discounts ranging from 10% up to nearly 50%. Here are the main rules:

  • The set of six offers is generated individually for each account and gets locked in as soon as the cards are revealed — it can't be regenerated or refreshed.
  • Battle Pass items, most Exclusive and Ultra Edition skins, and collections released fewer than two acts ago don't appear in the market.
  • Discounts only apply for the duration of the event; prices return to normal once it ends.
  • Some melee skins can also show up among the offers, provided they meet the price limits and don't cost more than 3,350 VP.

It's also worth noting that limited collections such as the Champions Collection, as well as event-exclusive skins, won't appear in the offers either. It's possible that unique skins will instead be available in the new Soup store, rumors of which have also recently surfaced online.
