k1Ng left On Sla2ers and took a break from the competitive scene
k1Ng has made the decision to leave On Sla2ers and take a break from the competitive scene for the rest of the summer. The 20-year-old South Korean cybersportsman announced this on his Twitter, noting burnout as the main reason for going inactive.
Hello, this is k1Ng. I wanted to inform everyone about my plans for the future. So I'm going to take a short break - maybe a month or two - and then get back on stage with a new team after VALORANT Champions 2022.
Even before I joined the On Sla2ers on loan, I was feeling pretty exhausted, but I decided to continue my career because I didn't think it was the right time to take a break. However, I felt too exhausted at the beginning of the second split. In addition, I have accumulated many unresolved personal questions regarding my future.
k1Ng appeared on the scene in the summer of 2020, becoming part of the Vision Strikers. Together with the team, the 20-year-old South Korean esportsman won many championships, including AfreecaTV Asia Showdown, AW EXTREME MASTERS ASIA Invitational, First Strike Korea and VCT 2021: Korea Stage 1 Masters.
However, k1Ng did not stay with the team after the reorganization to DRX, as a result of which the player was loaned first to ESportsConnected, and then to On Sla2ers, as this club also underwent a rebranding. Together with the last team, the esportsman took second place at VCT 2022: Korea Stage 1 Challengers, as well as 5-6th place at VCT 2022: Korea Stage 2 Challengers.
From now on, the VALORANT On Sla2ers roster is as follows:
- god dead.
- zunba.
- Bazzi.
- TS.
- Jaemin and peri (coaching staff).
