zAAz left G2 Gozen - she will be replaced by Mary
European esports organization G2 Esports has announced changes to its female VALORANT roster, saying goodbye to zAAz. It is reported that the 30-year-old Swedish cybersportswoman has decided to end her professional career. Her place in the team will be taken by Mary, who also left the professional scene.
Today the story of our champion zAAz comes to an end. We would like to wish zAAz all the best in her future endeavours, and proudly welcome Mary aboard. The core of the command remains unaffected. We're excited to see the updated G2 Gozen roster for the next VALORANT Game Changers EMEA series starting this September.
zAAz became part of G2 Gozen last October. During this time, the 30-year-old Swede helped the team win VCT 2021: Game Changers EMEA Series 3, VCT 2022: Game Changers EMEA Series 1 and VCT 2022: Game Changers EMEA Series 2, and also take third place in VCT 2021: Game Changers EMEA Series 2.
In turn, Mary is known for her performances for the ChatBanned team, with whom she made it to the top three at Rix.GG Huntress Trials August and Women in Games: Community Cup. After playing the end of last season in TENSTAR Nova, the representative of Bahrain left the stage and focused her efforts on streaming.
From now on, the composition of G2 Gozen is as follows:
- juliano.
- Petra.
- mimi.
- Glance.
- Mary.
- Carcass (head coach).
