Jady left NAVI's VALORANT roster
Ukrainian esports organization NAVI has announced changes to its VALORANT roster, parting ways with Jady. It is reported that the 18-year-old Russian player decided to change the discipline. His place in the team will be taken by zeddy, who has spent the last months with One Breath Gaming.
On May 13, a major tournament VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers with a prize pool of $200,000 will begin. Most of the NAVI team has already moved to Serbia and started training, and the rest of the participants will join them after the first match.
In the off-season, a change took place in the NAVI roster: we said goodbye to Yaroslav "Jady" Nikolaev, who decided to change the discipline. His place will be taken by Nikolai "zeddy" Lapko, who played for forze and One Breath Gaming.
Jady has been playing for NAVI since December last year, having moved from the Ninjas to Pajamas camp. Together with the Born to Win, the 18-year-old Russian player made it to the playoffs of VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers.
In turn, zeddy made a name for himself with forZe, together with which he became the winner of First Strike CIS, VCT 2021: CIS Stage 2 Challengers 1 and VCT 2021: CIS Stage 3 Challengers 2. Last fall, the 23-year-old Belarusian player moved to the squad One Breath Gaming, with which he managed to win the Razer Invitational Europe.
I am very happy to be part of the NAVI club. For me, this is a great honor. In the upcoming tournament, we will try to prove ourselves to the fullest. Follow the matches on the broadcasts and support NAVI!
Told by zeddy, NAVI recruit.
The next tournament for NAVI will be VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Challengers 2, which starts on May 13th. "Born to Win" will play in the same group with Guild Esports, Team Liquid, M3 Champions, BBL Esports and BIG.
From now on, the NAVI roster for VALORANT is as follows:
- 7ssk7.
- dinkzj.
- duno.
- cloud.
- zeddy.
- SmartSeven (trainer).
