sinatraa may return to the Sentinels, replacing zombs
According to insiders George Geddes and Max Katz, the North American esports organization Sentinels intends to make changes to the starting lineup for VALORANT. The team is already training without zombs, who could be replaced by sinatraa, who returned to the competitive scene the day before after allegations of sexual assault.
It's been a year since I was forced to give up competitive play. During this time, I learned a lot about myself and grew as a person. Now I'm ready to return to the professional scene.
sinatraa was the founding member of the original Sentinels roster formed in the spring of 2020. However, in early 2021, the 22-year-old player's ex-girlfriend brought sexual assault allegations against him, resulting in sinatraa being suspended from the competitive scene for six months. After serving his sentence, the esportsman returned to the Sentinels, but only as a streamer, since at that time the team did not need to change its lineup.
zombs has also played for the Sentinels since the formation of the roster in April 2020. In two seasons, the 23-year-old American has helped the team win many championships, including the JBL Quantum Cup, VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters, VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík and VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.
However, after the failure at the start of the new season, the organization thought about changes, as the team failed in the VCT 2022: North America Stage 1 Challengers, taking 7-8th place in the championship.
Sinatraa's return to the Sentinels is likely to be met with criticism as he was embroiled in a scandal. The player was accused by his ex-girlfriend Cleo Hernandez of sexual assault. This was followed by a police investigation, which was later dropped by the victim. However, since the suspension has ended and the investigation has not moved forward, sinatraa is now eligible to compete in VCT tournaments.
A possible Sentinels roster for VALORANT is as follows:
- ShahZaM.
- Sik.
- dapr.
- Tenz.
- sinatraa.
