MAD Lions is preparing to sign the lineup of TENSTAR
According to Dexerto, the Spanish esports organization MAD Lions is planning to enter the VALORANT discipline by signing the TENSTAR roster. The deal could be announced soon.
Tenstar has been facing uncertainty in recent weeks following a string of resignations at their parent company TenstarGG, including founder and CEO Carl Roderick. This has led many to wonder what the organization's next steps will be after they find themselves in financial hardship and unable to secure further funding.
Adding fuel to the fire was managed by Doma, who posted an unequivocal message on Twitter the day before: "There will be information about leaving TENSTAR soon."
The move allows MAD Lions, an organization that has long been interested in acquiring a suitable VALORANT roster, to enter the scene, but also gives TENSTAR a financial airbag to keep going. At the same time, the British club does not intend to leave the discipline and the upcoming deal can only help the organization stay afloat.
The original TENSTAR VALORANT roster formed last May. During the season, the European team managed to win ESL VALORANT UK&I Skirmish, as well as get into the top three at LVP - Rising Series #3, LVP - Rising Series #4 and VRL 2022 Northern Europe: Polaris Stage 1.
TENSTAR's current VALORANT roster is as follows:
- Br0die.
- KRAY.
- polvi.
- xms.
- Doma.
- Spin (head coach).
- Akki (analyst).
- J0hn (manager).
