It is known that the seeded teams will be G2 Esports, The Guard, Paper Rex and the winner of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: South America Stage 1 Playoffs (Ninjas in Pajamas and Leviatán). In the championship playoffs, each team from the group stage will face one of the four seeded teams. In this case, teams from the same group will be placed on different sides of the grid.

All matches of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík will be held in BO3 format. The exception will be the lower bracket final and the grand final, which will be held in the BO5 format.

The current roster for VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Masters Stage 1 - Reykjavík is as follows: Team Liquid, Fnatic, G2 Esports, OpTic Gaming, The Guard, XERXIA, Paper Rex, ZETA DIVISION, DRX, KRÜ Esports and LOUD.

Recall that earlier Riot Games issued an official statement announcing changes to the roster of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík. Due to travel restrictions around the world related to the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian crisis and the COVID-19 situation, Team Liquid will replace FunPlus Phoenix and take part in the championship in Iceland.
