Built By Gamers parts ways with VALORANT roster
North American esports organization Built By Gamers has announced they are parting ways with their VALORANT roster. The club also announced its intention to return to the discipline by rebuilding its division.
We are in the process of making significant changes to our core VALORANT roster. We are grateful to the players who gave their all last year. We remain fully committed to the discipline and look forward to putting together a new roster that will help us make great strides within the VCT.
The last Built By Gamers roster was formed in October 2020, with minor changes over the course of last season. During this time, the North American team became the winner of NSG: Summer Championship - Open 7, and also got into the top three at Nerd Street Gamers - Monthly December, NSG x Complexity Invitational and Knights Arena Monthly Gauntlet - September.
However, the club's management remained dissatisfied with the team's performances within the VCT, which led to subsequent changes in the division. Bjor and POACH have reportedly left the organization for good, while Will and Rarkar are still contractually bound by Built By Gamers. At the same time, the club also left RaptorZ, who led the team since October last year.
The latest Built By Gamers VALORANT roster is as follows:
- Bjor.
- POACH.
- Will.
- Rarkar.
- RaptorZ (coach).
