Former KRÜ Esports coach takes charge of Leviatán Esports
Argentinean esports organization Leviatán Esports has announced changes to the VALORANT roster coaching bridge, appointing Onur as its head coach. The 34-year-old Argentine specialist will replace phonics, who has led the team since November 2021.
Onur has already become a real star in the Latin American scene, having done a great job with KRÜ Esports. Joining the club early last year, the 34-year-old Argentinian has led the team to victories at VCT 2021: LAS Stage 2 Challengers 1, VCT 2021: Latin America Stage 2 Challengers Finals, VCT 2021: LAS Stage 3 Challengers 1 and VCT 2021: LATAM Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs. In addition, Onur and KRÜ Esports excelled internationally, placing 7th-8th and 5th-8th at the VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík and VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin respectively, as well as to the semi-finals of VALORANT Champions 2021.
In turn, phonics has led Leviatán Esports since November last year. In three months, the Brazilian specialist helped the team win VALORANT Defenders LAS 2021 and reach the semi-finals at the Argentina Game Show Cup 2021.
The next tournament for Onur as a Leviatán Esports coach will be VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Latin America South Challengers 1. In particular, the team will face KRÜ Esports and 9z Team in the group stage of the championship.
