Gamelanders Blue unveiled new VALORANT roster
The Brazilian esports organization Gamelanders has unveiled a new roster for the VALORANT discipline. The team will make its debut as part of the VCT 2022: Brazil Stage 1 Challengers starting in mid-February.
The new Gamelanders Blue roster is built around the former backbone of Stars Horizon, and previously B4 Esports. v1nNy, dgzin, chase and Fuzari have spent the last six months with Stars Horizon, winning VCT 2021: Brazil Stage 3 Challengers 2 and Copa Rakin - Season 3. However, at the end of last year, the esportsmen were left without a club, as the organization decided to review its roster and disbanded the team.
The fifth player and captain of Gamelanders Blue will be Nyang. The 24-year-old Brazilian esportsman has already played for the team for the past year and a half, winning First Strike Brazil, VCT 2021: Brazil Stage 1 Challengers 2, VCT 2021: Brazil Stage 2 Challengers 2, Copa Rakin - Season 1 and VCT 2021: Brazil Stage 3 Challengers 1. The organization has decided to put their trust in Nyang, who has shown great leadership in all previous iterations of Gamelanders Blue.
The head coach of the team will remain Katraka, who joined the organization last summer. In this case, shaW and Tigas will help him.
The debut of Gamelanders Blue will take place on February 12, along with the start of VCT 2022: Brazil Stage 1 Challengers. The Brazilian team will play in the same group with Team Vikings, Liberty, Ninjas in Pajamas and Sharks Esports.
