Zest returns to Vision Strikers
South Korean esports organization Vision Strikers has announced the return of Zest to the starting lineup for next season. Recall that the 21-year-old cyber sportsman spent the last six months on the bench due to health problems.
Zest joined Vision Strikers back in June 2020, pioneering the original roster. Together with the team, the player became the winner of many championships, including AfreecaTV Asia Showdown, Douyu Bie Zhuang Cup Season 1, pulze Royal SEA Cup, AW EXTREME MASTERS ASIA Invitational, First Strike Korea, VCT 2021: Korea Stage 1 Challengers 1, VCT 2021: Korea Stage 1 Challengers 2 and VCT 2021: Korea Stage 1 Masters.
The last tournament for Zest as part of Vision Strikers was VCT 2021: Korea Stage 2 Challengers, following which the team took 3-4 place, while the esportsman himself put his career on pause due to health problems. Note that the player has already returned at the end of last season, having performed at the National ShotVAL Pride together with the 이사 가자 team.
In turn, the Vision Strikers roster underwent minor changes at the end of the season. The team transferred k1Ng to the bench, and then gave the esports player on loan to the ESportsConnected team.
