The South Korean esports organization DAMWON Gaming has announced the appointment of solo to the position of head coach of the VALORANT roster.

The 33-year-old Korean specialist started his career at VALORANT last fall as the head of PROPARTY. Together with the team, he managed to take second place in the Clan Battle Act 2 # 4, as well as qualify for First Strike Korea. However, at the beginning of 2021, the team's roster was bought by NUTURN Gaming, while solo moved to the player's role.

During the season, solo won the DouYu Bie Zhuang Cup Winter, VCT 2021: Korea Stage 2 Challengers and VCT 2021: Korea Stage 3 Challengers. However, at the end of the season, NUTURN Gaming announced that they were disbanding their roster, freeing players from contracts.

From now on, the DAMWON Gaming roster is as follows:

  • Eugene.
  • T3xture.
  • Secret.
  • Jeong.
  • iNTRO.
  • solo (head coach).
  • Eraser, Calmly (coaching staff).
