Meiy and Vorz leave Northeption
Japanese esports organization Northeption has announced its VALORANT roster changes, bidding farewell to Meiy as well as head coach Vorz. Northeption expressed deep gratitude for the development of the team and wished them every success in the future.
Meiy and Vorz were the founders of the original Northeption roster, formed in February 2021. For a full season, the team became the winner of VCT 2021: Japan Stage 2 Challengers 1, and also got into the top three in VCT 2021: Japan Stage 3 Challengers 1, VCT 2021: Japan Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs and VCT 2021: APAC Last Chance Qualifier.
However, the team did not manage to get to the international championship, over and over again staying one step away from a trip to Masters or Champions 2021. As a result, the esports organization decided to revise its roster, in particular, letting SugarZ3ro and TENNN go to ZETA DIVISION, as well as parting with Seoldam and Astell.
From now on, there are no players in Northeption, while the future of the organization in the discipline remains in question.
