G2 Esports left without a Valorant coach
Neil 'neilzinho' Finlay said on Twitter that the management of G2 Esports decided to refuse his services and transferred neilzinho to inactive. He joined the club on January 18 this year. Together with him, the team's players managed to perform well at tournaments such as Red Bull Home Ground, VCT 2021: Europe Stage 3 Challengers 1 and VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin. At the Red Bull Home Ground, the team topped the standings and received a reward of $ 13,705. At VCT 2021: Europe Stage 3 Challengers 1 G2 won silver and received $ 11,877. In the largest Valorant championship, VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin, the team achieved good results and reached the top 3. For the 3rd-4th place in the Valorant World Championship, the team received $ 85,000.
On November 8, G2 Esports revealed that they have ended their partnership with Lucas 'LRojo' Rojo. The latter played the role of an analyst in the organization and helped cybersportsmen achieve the above successes.
Earlier we said that G2 are looking for replacements for two of their players. If you missed this news, then we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the material.
Now the club is left without coaches. G2 Esports will announce at a later date who will be joining the coach position in the near future. The management of the organization did not name the reason for the coach's departure to inactive, however, it can be assumed that this is most likely due to not the most satisfactory results of the team in recent years. At VCT 2021: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier G2 took 3rd place, and at Red Bull Home Ground # 2 the team completely stopped at 13-16th place.
