Rawkus became coach of the Sentinels
The Sentinels have announced the appointment of Rawkus as their head coach. The 27-year-old American will try himself at the helm of the team for the first time.
Rawkus is a native of the Overwatch League, joining VALORANT in August 2020. It is noteworthy that the 27-year-old player immediately joined FaZe Clan, with which he won VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 3, and also took second place in the JBL Quantum Cup, VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters and VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers 2.
The last tournament for Rawkus as a player was VCT 2021: North America Last Chance Qualifier, where he, together with the team, took the last place, thus ending the season.
In turn, the Sentinels all this time performed without a nominee coach. At the same time, the team managed to win all the most significant tournaments of the year, losing only within the framework of VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin. Now the team is planning to start a new stage in history, finally completing the reserve with a coach with rich playing experience.
From now on, the composition of the Sentinels is as follows:
- ShahZaM.
- zombs.
- SicK.
- dapr.
- TenZ.
- Rawkus (trainer).
