Ninjas in Pajamas focuses on the Brazilian scene
The Swedish esports organization Ninjas in Pajamas announced their desire to focus on the South American region in VALORANT, trying to develop their team in Brazil. According to the organization, its goal is to have esports teams in all relevant categories in their respective most significant regions.
“Brazil is our second home, where we own one of the best Rainbow Six Siege rosters in the world, and after successful negotiations with Riot Games and the local community, it became clear to us that we would completely redirect our activities to VALORANT. We will strengthen our position in LATAM, building a new headquarters and investing additional funds to entertain fans. Not forgetting the rich FPS history in the country and a raw base of talented players. We are very pleased to establish both the Young Ninjas Academy and the main team to win championships in the region.. For us, this is the beginning of a long journey, " - said the COO of the organization.
At the same time, the organization disbanded its European squad, releasing the players from contractual obligations. As a reminder, NIP broke into VALORANT last April when it signed its former Paladins roster, which includes bonkar, Tenner, Alex and DiGeDoG. In the first year, the team won Wave Esports Cup # 1, Elite Esports - Rivalry Bowl Europe and GLX Elite: EU, and also got into TOP-4 on WePlay! Invitational and BLAST Twitch Invitational.
The latest composition of the NIP is as follows:
- rhyme.
- chiwawa.
- Jady.
- ec1s.
- eMIL (trainer).
- Ex6TenZ (assistant coach).
