G2 Esports signed THE ORIGINALS

The European esports organization G2 Esports has signed the THE ORIGINALS team, as reported by several authoritative sources. Note that THE ORIGINALS recently moved from the CS: GO discipline, where they played under the XSET tag.

Interestingly, this is not the first appearance of the former XSET lineup in VAORANT. In July 2021, the team performed as part of TGH x Birds of Prey: Episode 1, placing second under the XSET Female tag.

After a full transition to VALORANT, the team began their performance as part of the qualification for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Game Changers EMEA Series 1, where they have won one meeting so far. It was with an eye on this tournament that G2 Esports decided to sign a stellar squad.

Recall that in the CS: GO discipline, the XSET team was one of the best at its level, having won DreamHack Showdown Winter 2020: Europe and DreamHack Open December 2020, as well as taking part in the men's DreamHack Open December 2020 and Spring Sweet Spring # 1 tournaments.
