mertz announced the transition of VALORANT. It is noteworthy that the Dane announced the transition to a new discipline on his birthday. What's also interesting is that this is, in fact, the first known player from Denmark to change the discipline in this way. Recall that in July, Halo journalist wrote about mortal threats to players considering the transition from Danish fans.

The 23-year-old Dane started his professional career in 2015. For six years, the sniper managed to try himself in such teams as Copenhagen Wolves, North, Heroic, Team Singularity, Copenhagen Flames and x6tence. Mertz spent his last season at Nordavind camp, the team that disbanded in early August.

During his career, the Dane became the winner of Esports European League - Season 1, DreamHack Open Tours 2018, Games Clash Masters 2018 and TOYOTA Master CS: GO Bangkok 2018, and also got into TOP-4 at StarSeries & i-League CS: GO Season 5 and DreamHack Open Winter 2018.

Note that in June 2021, there were rumors that a sniper might move to the Astralis team. However, the organization decided to invite Lucky, clearly referring to the prospects of the young player.
