The next season of the largest Rocket League league will be run very soon by the developers of the game Psyonix and their partners Twitch TV.

Rocket League Championship Series Season 4 has saved lots of the last season’s canons. As it was in the third season, teams of the three divisions: Europe, North America and countries of Oceania will take part in the league. The prize pool has not been changed too. $83,000 will be up for grabs in each league and $150,000 will be up for grabs at the LAN final called Rocket League Championship Series Season 4 Finals. Also, the main money prize also remained the same, the world Rocket League champion will earn $55,000.

However, organizers of the tournament have decided not to leave the tournament unchanged. The second division called Rocket League Rival Series will be run together with the new season, it will help teams, that have previously participated not good enough, to have a second chance to participate in Rocket League Championship Series.

Play-In

Play-In is the start of the way for all participants of Rocket League Championship Series Season 4. 48 teams from European and North American regions determine in this league who among the participants gets to the first and the main division called RLCS, who goes to the second division called RLRS and who ends up with nothing. Participants to hold the 1st-6th places get to RLCS and teams to hold the 7th-14th places get to RLRS. All others leave the tournament.

Play-In’s North American participants have played enough matches to determine the best ones. The following teams are in the top 6 teams that have guaranteed themselves a slot at RLCS Season 4 North America:

RLCS is the first and the main division for teams that have already proved themselves as professional Rocket League players. The league starts with the group stage, in which teams will play in a bo5 format. Teams will take part in the regional tournament after the group stage.

Participants to hold the first four places will get to the final stage of the league, Rocket League Championship Series Season 4 Finals. Teams to hold the 5th-6th place will pass to the next season of RLCS. Two teams to show the worst performance among other participants will get to Promotion Playoffs, where they will fight with the rest of teams, that have participated not in the best way too, for the right to come out to the fifth season of RLCS.
