The Rocket League Championship Series X Lamborghini Open is the final North American regional Rocket League event during the spring season.

During the tournament, set to start on April 23rd, Psyonix will present their Battle of the Bulls event, in which players will compete in one-on-one duels. According to the press release, the winners will receive $ 5,000 and the losing players will withdraw $ 1,000 for each match played.

The announcement of Lamborghini's involvement in the Rocket League esports ecosystem follows from Psyonix's decision last week to cancel the 2021 Rocket League World Championships due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The offline tournament is being replaced by the RLCS X Championships, which consists of four separate tournaments with players from Europe, North America, Oceania and South America.

Psyonix also announced that its partnership with Lamborghini will include in-game activation. According to a press release, the automaker's Huracán STO model will be integrated into the Rocket League and available for purchase in the store.

Lamborghini is not the first car brand to partner with the Rocket League. In January 2021, Psyonix announced a deal with Ford to integrate its F-150 model into the game and introduced the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) X Winter Split.
