Superlachie joins Ground Zero Gaming
Australian esports organization Ground Zero Gaming has completed the Rocket League roster by signing a contract with Superlachie. The 17-year-old Australian player, who previously played for the Pioneers, replaced Shorez in the starting lineup.
The perfect player to complete our Rocket League roster. Introducing Superlachie.
Superlachie spent just under a year with the Pioneers, where he moved last February from the Forkidden camp. During this time, the 17-year-old Australian player became the winner of RLCS 2021-22 - Spring: Oceania Regional Event 2, RLCS 2021-22 - Spring: Oceania Regional Event 3 and RLCS 2022-23 - Fall: Oceania Regional 1 - Fall Open, and also made it to the top three at RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: Oceania Regional Event 3, ANZAC Day Invitational 2022, RLCS 2022-23 - Fall: Oceania Regional 2 - Fall Cup and RLCS 2022-23 - Fall: Oceania Regional 3 - Fall Invitational.
In addition, together with the team, he managed to take part in the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Winter Split Major (9th-12th place), Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Spring Split Major (9th-12th place), Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - World Championship (17th-19th place) and Rocket League Championship Series 2022-23 - Fall Split Major (15th-16th place).
However, the 17-year-old Aussie left the Pioneers starting lineup at the end of December and became a free agent two weeks later. In turn, the day before, Ground Zero Gaming said goodbye to Shorez, who had been playing for the team since September last year. Now the club hopes to improve its position in the region and reach the international level.
The debut of the updated roster of the Australian team will take place next weekend — Ground Zero Gaming will take part in the qualification for RLCS 2022-23 - Winter: Oceania Regional 1 - Winter Open.
