Rumor: SMPR Esports risks being left without a Rocket League roster
According to the Shiftrle.gg portal, the English esports organization SMPR Esports is at risk of being left without a Rocket League roster. The French team will leave the club as free agents, continuing to play together in the next competitive season.
The SMPR Esports roster will soon become free agents. The team of Chausette45, Kassio and ExotiiK plan to stick together from now on as they head towards RLCS 2022-23. archie will not represent SMPR Esports next season and will be a free agent.
The SMPR Esports organization entered the scene early last year. Having made several changes in the roster, the French team showed good results last season, getting into the TOP-3 at the end of RLCS 2021-22 - Fall: EU Regional Event 3 - European Grand Prix, Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Fall Split Major and Dacia Spring Electric Tournament.
The last championship for the team under the wing of SMPR Esports was the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - World Championship, following which the roster took 9-12th place, earning $30,000.
The fate of archie is interesting, which, we recall, left the starting lineup of SMPR Esports back in April. Since then, the 17-year-old Englishman has been playing for the Endpoint CeX team, with whom he managed to take third place at RLCS 2021-22 - Spring: EU Regional Event 3 - Super 16, and also play at the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - World championship.
The current Rocket League roster of SMPR Esports is as follows:
- Cassio
- Chausette45
- ExoTiiK
- Finish (head coach)
