mist leaves OpTic Gaming
mist has announced his retirement from OpTic Gaming as a free agent. The 18-year-old American e-sportsman announced this on his social networks.
With the completion of the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - World Championship, I have become an unrestricted free agent and will look for new opportunities. I would like to thank our fans for sticking with us through all the lineup changes and mixed results. Looking forward to next season.
mist has been part of Team Envy (hereinafter OpTic Gaming) since April 2020. During this time, the 18-year-old American esportsman helped the team win many championships, including:
- RLCS Season X - Fall: NA Regional Event 3
- RLCS Season X - Winter: NA Regional Event 1
- RLCS Season X - Winter: NA Regional Event 2
- RLCS Season X - Spring: Lamborghini Open - NA Regional Event 3
- WePlay Esports Invitational featuring Rocket League - North America
In addition, together with the team, the player got into the TOP-3 at the end of RLCS Season X - North American Championship and RLCS Season X - Winter: NA Major, and also took part in the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Fall Split Major (12- 14th place), Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Spring Split Major (7th-8th place) and Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - World Championship (13th-16th place).
Now the North American team will have to take care of its roster before the start of the next competitive season. In turn, mist will start searching for a new club, hardly facing a shortage of potential applicants.
From now on, OpTic Gaming's Rocket League roster is as follows:
- dream
- Allushin
- Turbopolsa (bench)
- Ian (manager/coach)
