xoz1N steps down as head coach of Elevate
The North American esports organization Elevate has announced changes to the team's Rocket League coaching team, parting ways with xoz1N. The 19-year-old Brazilian specialist has been leading the team since January of this year. The club thanked the coach for the work done and wished him success in the future.
We want to thank xoz1N for his work and for introducing the Elevate tag. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
xoz1N took over Elevate at the start of 2021. In five months, the 19-year-old Brazilian specialist helped the team take second place in Player1: Rocketão Cup #2, and also take part in RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: SAM Regional Event 1 (7-8th place), RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: SAM Regional Event 2 (13th-16th place) and RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: SAM Regional Event 3 (9th-12th place).
However, the Brazilian team did not have a summer split. First of all, Elevate finished last in RLCS 2021-22 - Spring: SAM Regional Event 1 and also managed to qualify for the second championship of the season. As a result, the team is very likely to miss the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Spring Split Major, which will start in London at the end of June.
Probably, such weak results were the reason for the changes in the coaching bridge. Who will coach the team at the next summer split championship, where Elevate successfully qualified, is unknown. RLCS 2021-22 - Spring: South America Regional Event 2 starts this coming Friday, May 20th.
From now on, the Rocket League roster of Elevate is as follows:
- Luk.
- dropz.
- snipjz.
- kixou (bench)
